The geography of sunflower meal supplies grew from four to seven countries. Last year Bashkiria exported products to Germany, Denmark, Latvia and Norway. This year Belarus, China and the Netherlands have been added to them.

 

"All 2,049 batches of regulated products were controlled before being sent to foreign contractors. Samples in accordance with the requirements of importing countries in full have been examined by the Bashkir testing laboratory of FGBU "VNIIZZh". According to the results of examinations harmful quarantine organisms were not detected, products of plant origin meet the requirements of importing countries", - reported in the department.

 

On the basis of the conclusions of laboratory tests, the Department issued 2.05 thousand certificates in 2023, for the same period last year their number was 1.06 thousand.

 

As reported RBC Ufa, at the end of nine months the export of sunflower meal from Bashkiria amounted to 133.2 thousand tons of granulated sunflower meal. In January-September 2022, oil-extraction enterprises of the region sent abroad half as much feed additives for poultry and farm animals - 63.86 thousand tons.

 

Earlier experts interviewed by RBC Ufa noted that the main buyers of sunflower meal from Russia are Turkey and China, they account for 58% of all exports - last season 622 thousand tons and 319 thousand tons of meal respectively.
