Obtaining a certificate of certification of measurement methodology is a very important step for the Russian company, which since 2016 has been developing microbiological rapid tests "Petritest" for various industry sectors. The main consumers of express tests, both substrates and indicators, are food manufacturers.

 

Over the past time "Alternativa" has significantly expanded its line of tests, as well as markets. In addition to the food industry, "Petritests" are actively used in the oil and gas industry, cosmetic and household chemical production, veterinary laboratories and water treatment systems. The company is actively developing cooperation with partners in Uzbekistan, as well as with the Customs Union countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Belarus. Alternativa also offers its products for use in the HACCP food safety system.

 

Recently, the method of measuring the number of microorganisms with the help of "Petritest" has been certified. It means that this method corresponds to all metrological standards established by the Federal Law № 102-FZ "On ensuring the uniformity of measurements". Now every accredited laboratory will be able to successfully use this methodology to conduct tests for the detection of sanitary and pathogenic groups of microorganisms using Petritest.
