"Aromatik" company from Belarus has been presenting its products at the Global Ingredients Show for several years. By the middle of the second day, we had already held 45 meetings with new partners and showcased our new innovative ingredients. Overall, we are very pleased with the result, the activity, and the attention to our stand. The overall impression is very positive – we will gladly come again next year."
Denis Murashov, CEO of "Carbon Ext", noted the growing interest of visitors in equipment for producing plant-based ingredients: "This is our second time participating in this wonderful exhibition, and we like everything. Our company manufactures equipment for obtaining CO2 extracts. I want to note that there is currently a lot of interest and excitement around this product in Russia. Many ingredient manufacturers are now interested in purchasing equipment for extract production".
Yegor Kashirskikh, Development Director of
"RusExtract", highlighted the advantageous market position of domestic producers amidst the increasing number of foreign exhibitors:
"It is not for the first time that we are participating at the exhibition. Live communication is important, so our stand is never empty, and there is always someone to discuss cooperation prospects with. The exhibition is growing – now it's somewhat different: there are more of our foreign colleagues. But against this background, I think we look more advantageous because Russian producers are always better. We compete in logistics, price, and, most importantly, quality, as we produce our extracts from Russian raw materials".
Evgeny Gruzdev, CEO of
"Santeville" from Nizhny Novgorod, sees the Global Ingredients Show as a primary platform for reorienting the company's activities towards industrial production:
"The industrial market is new for our company. We view this exhibition as the main one in this segment. There are no random people here at all – the audience is highly professional and specialised. People are interested – there's no time to rest at the stand".

The forum was attended by over 200 delegates, and more than 60 speakers presented their reports in three thematic areas: food products, cosmetics and perfumery, and nutritional supplements.
Industry experts, representatives of professional associations, research centers, specialised enterprises, and government structures participated as speakers in the business programme.
Alina Osmakova, Deputy Director for Strategic Communications at the Federal Research Center "Fundamentals of Biotechnology", who moderated the forum's plenary session, highlighted the importance of integrating biotechnologies into food ingredient production and noted the growing number of new developments by Russian companies: "Biotechnologies, genetic engineering, and structural biology technologies form the technological basis on which modern food ingredient and component production develops. Today at the exhibition, we already see that more and more Russian companies are emerging with advanced developments that meet world standards".
Natalya Chernysheva, Director of Sk Agrotech Hub at the Skolkovo Foundation, who spoke at the strategic session "Production of Ingredients and Additives: Market, Technologies, Personnel", shared her impressions of the exhibition and forum: "This is a very useful and very interesting exhibition, featuring both Russian and foreign manufacturers and suppliers. More and more ingredients that we have been importing and still import are being replaced by domestic production. The forum had many interesting reports on new production facilities being created and those planned for creation. All these facilities use new domestic technologies and developments. It is encouraging to see that the industry is investing in the development of new technologies and innovations in food ingredient production. As a development institution, we are happy to support innovative projects in this direction".
Partners of the business programme included: the Union of Food Ingredient Producers (SPPI), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Scientific and Technical Non-Profit Partnership "Technological Platform ‘Bioindustry and Bioresources’" (TP BioTech2030), the Union of Dietary Supplements Producers, and the information and analytical portal of the food industry foodsmi.com.
