13 February 2025 News Denis Gurkov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Samara Region, visited Arsenal Athleta (Volzhsky District, Lopatino village) on February 5 — a company that has successfully implemented lean manufacturing tools with the support of the Regional Competence Center. Arsenal Athleta is a large manufacturer that combines the areas of production of soft and hard gelatin capsules, dietary supplements and vitamins, healthy desserts, protein shakes and other functional products under its brands. In 2024, the company built and commissioned a 5500 square meter warehouse terminal and a 6500 square meter production facility. Arsenal Athleta plans to launch a new production unit of 6000 sq.m., create jobs, increase productivity by 2 times, enter the CIS countries with the product “soft and hard gelatin capsules”. And most importantly — installation and launch of unique and more productive equipment, which has no analogues in the world today. This will reduce the dependence of Russian consumers on imported analogs in pharmaceutical production.
